In 2017, Red Bull filed a trademark opposition against Old Ox Brewery, a Virginia-based craft brewery, arguing that the brewery's logo featuring an ox was too similar to Red Bull's logo. Red Bull claimed that the brewery's logo could create confusion among consumers due to its alleged similarity to the iconic Red Bull logo. The case attracted attention as it highlighted issues of trademark opposition between a beverage giant and a smaller brewery.
